All right, all right, all right. I don't often do this. I'm usually immune to hype and claptrap. But I have a particular bug under my skin regarding scientology, for a variety of reasons that really don't bear getting into at the moment.
So this morning, I succumbed and went looking for that stupid Tom Cruise video on YouTube. And the good ol' CoS had yanked it already. Ah! But leave it to the irreverent Aussies to save the day.
The damn thing's about 9 minutes long, but you don't really need the visuals (save the graphic flourishes at the beginning and end). I listened to the thing pretending I had BBC6 tuned in on my computer and got no strange looks. I wishwishwish it were fake; I wish it were a tongue-in-cheek self-spoof.
But it's not. "Enjoy."
