...rocks. Utterly, completely, totally. I got to see him do his latest show on Sunday night, and he was in brilliant form. He was bitingly funny, but it's a self-deprecating funny, a funny that's brutal but has such a sense of perspective. It's rare. He's laughing with us, because dammit--well, it's funny.

Even better: he remains an accessible, personable, and genuinely friendly human being. I've seen him do stand-up three times. Each time, a gentleman. He talks to folks outside the room after the show's over.

Brilliant. Go see him. He totally made my week.
