Surfacing briefly...

Hello, all! I'm safe and sound in Australia. I'm at a net-cafe, so I don't want to take up too much time, but the quick gist is that we're doing fine, we'll have a monitor for the computer sometime this weekend, and if the computer is functional then we'll have regular connectivity sometime around the 26th or so. If the computer doesn't work, then who knows? Message me directly if you want contact info and do not already have it.

I am still planning on creating a new LJ to describe my experiences adjusting to life in Australia, but that's being put on hold until we get connectivity at home.
