Two cool things today: my dad's birthday, and the shuttle landed safely, without incident.
My dad's off at a meeting, so I'll have to try to call him later, but I really do feel good about the shuttle landing. It almost mitigates the feeling of loss from Peter Jennings' death. I never knew he was 67 (looked ten years younger, honestly, at least until his last few months). But Jennings is, really, another post. I hope to get to that today.
